February Bar Night
Our next bar night is coming up! Join us on Saturday, February 25 at the Jackhammer (click me for a map if you're into that sort of thing). And you're in luck: the party is on the same night as Jackhammer's Pigs At The Troff party, so get ready for a pigfest. Cover is $10 - be prepared for some hot sweaty fun!

January Bar Night & Rubber Jock Strap Contest
It's time for our January bar night! If you haven't been able to join us in January, you're in for a treat: our annual Rubber Jock Strap Contest is a great way to start our rubber bar night year off with some rubber and some skin. Join us on Saturday, January 28th at the Cell Block (Map: 3702 North Halsted) for a fun night of showing off your favorite rubber jock and win some cash! First, second, and third place cash and bar tab prizes will be awarded. Fun starts at 11PM and we look forward to seeing you there!

MIR Wrap Up
Mister International Rubber was a blast! Congratulations to Si, our new Mister International Rubber for 2012. If you had a chance to get to the kink market at MIR, we hope you had as much fun as we did! It was a great weekend of socializing, shopping and selling gear. Thanks to all who participated in making it a great weekend. A special thanks to our volunteers, all of whom did an awesome job helping people sell their gear and making our contribution to MIR so awesome. Each year, our volunteers help receive, tag, label, hang, and sell gear for those who bring in their rubber gear to the gear sale. Thanks again, guys - we really couldn't do it without you. Your volunteer hours as well as helping out during the year helped us contribute to the MIR contes as well as the Center on Halsted. Check out the MIR website for details about the weekend and photographs.

December Bar Night
There's only one more bar night left in 2011, and you're invited. Join us on Saturday, December 3 at the Cell Block as we celebrate one hell of a rubbery year with the Chicago Rubbermen. As usual fun starts at 10:30 at 3702 North Halsted Street (map). We finally reached our goal of having one bar night or special event each month!

Congratulations to Pleep, Mister Midwest Rubber 2011! Touche Bar Chicago hosted the annual Mister Midwest Rubber contest on the very HOT weekend of July 16 and 17. The contest was hosted by emcee Rubberwilli (Mister International Rubber 2003). Meet and greet occurred on Friday Night with introduction of contestants and judges. Rubber-clad butts and bodies filled the bar for the contest on Saturday, which included the jock strap and of course, the mystery bag portion of the evening. Everyone likes to see the demo pig squirm, right? Other judged categories included Rubber Image, On Stage Question, & Interview. Rubberwilli's theme for the evening was "Firsts" and focused his duties on the discovering several of the contestants "firsts" as well as providing helpful hints for audience members looking to make their first rubber gear purchases. Saturday night included a post contest dress code enforced gear night in the club room of Touche.

On July 9, we're turning 5!
Chicago Rubbermen Anniversary Party

The Chicago Rubbermen are 5 years old! Turns out the appropriate gift to give in year 5 is wood (yes, really). Rubber has given us wood for the past 5 years so it's our turn to give back. Join us at the Cell Block Chicago on Saturday, July 9 at 10pm for a night of rubber fun and prizes. Cheap drinks: $4.50 call drinks and import beer, $3.50 well drinks.

And for every person who walks through the door wearing rubber, the Chicago Rubbermen will give that person a free raffle ticket and donate $5 to the Center on Halsted up to a total of $500. Imagine you and 99 other rubbered-up sexy bodies for a night...The more of you and your friends who show up, the more we give back! It's that simple. If you or your friend doesn't have gear but wants to join the raffle, tickets are only $5. The Chicago Rubbermen will match that in a donation to the Center, too.
